However if you’re unhappy at any stage with the look of your timber flooring it can be sanded back, polished or stained in the future as tastes and trends evolve.

We have a wide range of timber options including Blackbutt, Stringybark, Blue Gum, Brushbox, Spotted Gum and Jarrah, with all Barrington timber flooring utilising the Valinge 5G locking system, enabling quick installation, greater joint strength and no glue required. This is especially handy in the event a damaged plank needs replacing. Because Timber is a natural product, variation amongst boards is to be expected. Over the year's, boards will oxidise with light, causing reactions with the tannins in the timber. In general, this leads to your floor darkening slightly over time.
